Icy Spirit: The Unique Combat Style of Sicork, Heir to the Malevolent Rider

Among the swirling ice crystals, a dark red figure gradually emerges. She wields a single-handed sword that emits a pale glow, its blade shimmering like frost, as if capable of freezing the air itself. Her gaze is as sharp as frost, yet hints at a mysterious smile. This is Silcock, the five-star Ice element character set to debut in Genshin Impact version 5.7.
Silcock’s story begins with an ancient legend. In the land blanketed by snow and ice, she is the successor to the Evil Ride, possessing extraordinary Ice element abilities and a unique combat style. Her sword techniques flow like water, elegant and graceful, while each swing of her sword seems to orchestrate a symphony of ice and snow.
Exclusive Weapon: Qingyao
Silcock’s exclusive weapon is called “Qingyao,” a single-handed sword radiating mysterious light. Legend has it that this sword has severed countless darkness and witnessed countless cycles of life and death. Ancient runes etched on the blade seem to tell an old story.
“Qingyao” boasts a base attack of 608, with each strike as biting as cold wind. Its special effect, “Gifts from White Mountain,” makes this sword even more distinctive. After Silcock uses her Elemental Skill, her attack is increased by 24% for 12 seconds. If her Elemental Energy is at 0, the attack is further boosted by 24%, and Critical Damage is increased by 40%. This enhances Silcock’s burst and sustainability in combat.
Normal Attack: Evil Technique – Sever
Silcock’s Normal Attacks flow like water, each strike filled with power and elegance. She can perform up to five consecutive attacks, each as sharp as ice. Her Charged Attack is more overpowering, hurling a rotating ice spear at enemies in front, dealing devastating damage. Her Plunge Attack descends like hail, striking enemies along the path and dealing AoE damage upon landing.
Elemental Skill: Evil Technique – Flash
Silcock’s Elemental Skill, “Evil Technique: Flash,” is central to her combat style. It mimics the Evil Ride’s fighting method, with different effects for Tap and Hold. Tapping grants Silcock 45 points of Serpent’s Cunning and switches her to the Seven Strikes Flash mode. Holding it also grants 45 points of Serpent’s Cunning and allows her to move quickly with enhanced interruption resistance. Silcock can control the direction of her movement and end the quick movement early by recasting the skill.
Elemental Burst: Evil Technique – Annihilate
Silcock’s Elemental Burst, “Evil Technique: Annihilate,” relies on Serpent’s Cunning rather than Elemental Energy. When she has at least 50 points of Serpent’s Cunning, she can consume all of it to unleash her Elemental Burst, tearing through space and performing rapid slashes that deal Ice element AoE damage. For every point of Serpent’s Cunning exceeding 50, the damage of this Elemental Burst increases, up to a maximum of 12 extra points.
In Seven Strikes Flash mode, the Elemental Burst “Evil Technique: Annihilate” is replaced by “Evil Technique: Exhaust.” This special Elemental Burst can be used without consuming Serpent’s Cunning. Upon activation, Silcock gains the “Sculpture’s End” effect, which lasts until the end of the Seven Strikes Flash mode. If the innate talent “Reason Beyond” is unlocked, the “Sculpture’s End” effect is further enhanced, boosting both Attack and Elemental Damage.
Silcock’s combat style is truly unique.
